With the opening of NFL training camps right around the corner, Gridiron Air is showcasing how modern pro teams travel as it brings the Arizona Cardinals team aircraft to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2026 for a one-day visit on Monday, July 20.

The Boeing 777-200ER will park on Boeing Plaza and be available for public tours during the day on July 20 prior to the airplane’s departure immediately following the Opening Day afternoon air show.

The Gridiron Air aircraft supply range, comfort, and consistency for its client teams. Each aircraft seats up to 288 guests across four cabin zones, including 28 lie-flat business suites, and offers a 7,725 nautical mile range, Panasonic in-flight entertainment, gate-to-gate Wi-Fi, and over 125,000 pounds of cargo capacity — enough to move an entire team, its equipment, and its gear in unison.

Gridiron Air is based at Perot Field Fort Worth Alliance Airport and was founded to serve professional sports team travel. It has flown the Arizona Cardinals since 2021 with a track record of 100-percent dispatch reliability. Since earning its Part 121 certification, the airline has expanded beyond its NFL roots, drawing growing interest from NFL, NBA, and MLB franchises, as well as college athletic programs — all seeking the reliability and comfort of a dedicated, uniform fleet. Most recently, Gridiron Air serviced several countries participating in the FIFA World Cup in the USA, Mexico, and Canada.

The same aircraft and crews that move championship-caliber teams also support music tours and corporate groups, giving Gridiron Air a versatile charter footprint well beyond the gridiron — from artists on the road to executive teams traveling together for major events. Two operations the company is particularly proud of are Civics Matters and the Special Olympics USA, both in 2026. The Civics Matters trip affords children from Phoenix and New Mexico the opportunity to visit the nation’s capital, and the Special Olympics airlift marked the first time a widebody aircraft was used to transport athletes, coaches, families, friends, and delegates to the games from Phoenix to Minneapolis.
